BIOGRAPHY

I paint my pictures on uneven, swirling canvases with my hands, fingers, and nails. I don't use brushes. The more scars and bumps a person's life has, the more beautiful they are for having lived through those experiences. I want to convey through my paintings that even with bumps and scars, life is beautiful. Because of those experiences, we can find happiness.

I am sensitive to both happiness and pain because I can't forget the painful and difficult experiences in my life. I want people who have gone through different hardships to affirm themselves, notice the small happiness in their lives, and become even happier.

Sometimes, I get dragged down by my painful past, but when I paint, I do it when I am free from negative emotions. I want both myself and those who see my paintings to feel happiness without being trapped by negativity. To honestly convey this feeling in my paintings, I use only my fingers and nails to draw happy creatures and smiles on the bumpy, swirling, and scarred surfaces.
